It was a great race! Seventeen brave souls raced
through mt. Helena city park guided by glow
sticks, headlamps, flashlights and jeff thomas.

from the bottom of the hill, spectators were
able to watch the runner's lights bobbing across
the mountain. The really fast guys looked like
shooting stars up there.

evan eck scored extra style points for his "in the
dark" tree hurdling skills.

jacob cowgill from missoula earned the men's
yellow jersey with his first place finish. Michelle
Richardson snagged the women's jersey.

A big thank you to martin miller for his
assistance with the timing, jeff thomas for his
abundant help on the course (before, during
and after the race), the spectators (some of them
were probably up past their bedtime) and of
course, to the runners.
